TERMS & CONDITIONS

Welcome to Road 2 Rhythm Dance Studio.

Road 2 Rhythm is operated by Adelaide Dance Central Pty Ltd (ABN 34 647 233 243) (“Road 2 Rhythm”, “the Studio”, “we”, “us” or “our”).

We provide dance tuition and related services for adults across a range of Latin, Ballroom, social and other dance styles.

By booking, purchasing or participating in our lessons, classes, workshops or events, you agree to the applicable Terms & Conditions below.

01 PRIVATE DANCE LESSONS

- Private lessons are 45 minutes unless otherwise specified. - Lessons are available by appointment. Bookings can be made by contacting 0401 890388. INTRODUCTORY LESSONS - New students can choose between a complimentary sample lesson, which includes approximately 20 minutes of dance instruction, or a full 45-minute Introductory (Intro) Private Lesson at the applicable introductory rate. - Both options give you the opportunity to meet your instructor, discuss your goals and experience private dance tuition before deciding how you would like to continue. PACKAGE VALIDITY & PAYMENT - Private lessons include individual instruction and a personalised dance program based on your goals and requirements. - Private lesson packages do not expire unless otherwise stated. Gift Certificates are subject to their own validity period. - Lesson packages must be prepaid in full to receive any applicable package discount. - Payment arrangements may be available upon request and at management’s discretion. - Enrolments may require a signed enrolment agreement together with a health and physical fitness acknowledgement or waiver. - Students must be 18 years or over to enter into an enrolment agreement. Students under 18 require the consent and signature of a parent or legal guardian. - Please select your package carefully and contact us before purchasing if you are unsure which option best suits your needs. CANCELLATIONS & RESCHEDULING - A minimum of 6 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule a private lesson. - Where insufficient notice is provided, the booked lesson may be charged in full. - At management’s discretion, an initial late cancellation charge may be waived as a gesture of goodwill. This discretion is not guaranteed and may be limited to a maximum of two occasions. REFUNDS & TRANSFERS - Private lesson packages are non-refundable for change of mind. - This does not affect any rights or remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law. - Unused lessons may, at management’s discretion, be transferred or credited to another person, such as a family member or friend. Transfer requests can be discussed with your instructor. - Promotional offers and special packages may have additional or different conditions. Where applicable, these will be stated with the offer. - Regular private lessons may be booked Monday–Friday, 10:00am–10:00pm, and Saturday, 10:00am–8:30pm. - All bookings are subject to instructor and studio availability. - Private lesson packages start from $89 per lesson and are valid for either one or two people unless otherwise specified.

02 GIFT CERTIFICATES

- Gift Certificates may be purchased online, in the studio or by phone. - Certificates purchased online or by phone are generally emailed within 24–48 hours. If you would prefer to collect a Gift Certificate from the studio, please contact us on 0401 890 388 to arrange collection. - Gift Certificates may be used by either one or two people unless otherwise specified. - Private lessons are generally 45 minutes and all lessons are by appointment. - Please present your Gift Certificate when booking or attending your first lesson. - Gift Certificates may be used for eligible social Latin, Ballroom dance styles unless otherwise stated. Gift Certificates are not valid for customised choreography, including Wedding Dance choreography, unless specifically stated on the certificate. - Gift Certificates are valid for five months from the date of purchase, unless a different validity period is stated on the certificate. CANCELLATIONS & RESCHEDULING - A minimum of 6 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule a lesson booked using a Gift Certificate. - Where insufficient notice is provided, the booked lesson may be forfeited. REFUNDS & CONDITIONS - Gift Certificates are non-refundable for change of mind and cannot be redeemed for cash. - This does not affect any rights or remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law. - Gift Certificates cannot be combined with another promotional offer unless otherwise stated. - A maximum of one Gift Certificate may be redeemed by the same person or couple for the same booking or occasion unless otherwise approved.

03 FREE COMPLIMENTARY SAMPLE LESSON

- The complimentary sample lesson is available to new students only. - The appointment includes an initial consultation and approximately 20 minutes of dance instruction. Please allow approximately 35 minutes in total. - The complimentary lesson applies to eligible Latin and Ballroom dance styles unless otherwise specified. - The lesson gives you an opportunity to meet your instructor, discuss your goals, experience the studio and try private dance tuition. - There is no obligation to purchase additional lessons. - The complimentary lesson cannot be combined with another offer unless otherwise stated. - The complimentary lesson has no cash value and cannot be redeemed for cash. - New students wanting more lesson time can instead choose a full 45-minute Introductory (Intro) Private Lesson at the applicable introductory rate.

04 HENS PARTIES, CORPORATE WORKSHOPS & EVENTS

BOOKINGS & LOCATIONS - Sessions may be available seven days a week, subject to studio and instructor availability. - Saturday and Sunday in-studio bookings are generally available between 1:00pm and 8:00pm. - Classes are held at our Adelaide studio at 24 Dumfries Place, Adelaide SA 5000, unless another location has been arranged. - Off-site sessions may be available upon request. Please provide your location and preferred start time when enquiring. - Additional travel fees may apply to off-site bookings. - Props may not be available for every dance theme and are subject to availability. - Final guest numbers may generally be confirmed up to 14 days before the event. DEPOSITS & PAYMENTS - To secure your booking, date, venue and instructor, a 50% deposit or payment equivalent to the minimum guest requirement, whichever is greater, is required within seven days of making a tentative booking. - Where the number of participants is below the applicable minimum, the minimum booking charge will still apply. - Deposits are non-refundable for change of mind or cancellation by the customer, subject to any rights or remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law. - Final guest numbers and any outstanding balance must be confirmed and paid no later than 14 days before the event. - Bookings made within 14 days of the event may require payment in full at the time of booking. - No refunds are provided for guests who do not attend on the day, subject to any rights available under the Australian Consumer Law. ADDITIONAL VENUE TIME - Additional studio or venue time may be available for activities such as games, speeches, refreshments or opening gifts. - Additional venue hire charges may apply and are subject to availability. - Where an unlimited flat-rate package is offered, the applicable maximum guest numbers and additional-person charges will be specified at the time of booking. PHOTOGRAPHY - We may offer to take group photographs at the conclusion of a class or event. - Participation in photographs is optional. - Guests who do not wish to be photographed should advise the instructor. - Where guests agree to participate in a photograph, we may request permission to use the image on the Road 2 Rhythm website, social media or other promotional material. The person making the booking is responsible for making participants aware of the relevant booking conditions.

05 GENERAL CONDITIONS

- Prices, lesson times, instructors, timetables, packages and availability may change from time to time. - Promotional offers may be subject to additional conditions stated at the time of the promotion. - Students and guests are expected to behave respectfully toward instructors, staff and other participants. - Road 2 Rhythm reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service where behavior is unsafe, abusive, disruptive or inappropriate. - Participation in dance involves physical activity. Students are responsible for advising their instructor of any relevant physical limitations or concerns before participating. - Students should participate only at a level appropriate for their individual circumstances. - Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude, restrict or limit any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. - All Road 2 Rhythm services are subject to these Terms & Conditions together with any additional conditions provided for a particular service, package or promotion. - If you have any questions regarding these Terms & Conditions, please contact us through our Contact Form.
